We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Support Co-ordinator to join our Business Support Team in 2021. This will be a permanent, full-time role based at our Edinburgh distillery, reporting to the Executive Business Partner. The role will be to assist the Company by performing confidential Business Support duties for the Executive Business Partner and Senior Leadership Team, whilst ensuring the smooth operation of both internal and external communications and building our Employer Brand via digital platforms. 

 

Main Responsibilities:

Performing confidential Business Support duties for the Executive Business Partner and the Senior Leadership Team; 

  1. Assisting the Executive Business Partner with supporting the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring constructive division of time, prioritising urgent tasks and meetings.
  2. Preparing charts, reports and presentation materials.
  3. Day-to-day administration tasks, including management of expenses and purchase ordering for the business.
  4. Management of correspondence, including incoming and outgoing mail, phone calls and email.
  5. Event and project management, including organising company-wide Social activities.
  6. Coordinate and manage relationships with the company's Charity Partners which will assist in the planning of fundraising ventures and awareness campaigns. 
  7. Act as back up to the Executive Business Partner, when needed, in order to assist with the cover of business critical tasks and ensure business continuity, when required. 

 

Building our Employer Brand and improving company visibility and reputation across a variety of internal and external digital platforms;

  1. Assisting the Executive Business Partner with the company social media outlets (LinkedIn, Facebook etc.) through regular posting and sharing of content, including company business and charitable updates as well as recruitment opportunities.
  2. Drafting content for communications copy.
  3. Facilitating effective internal communications through control of the company’s online intranet portal (The Vibe) and a weekly company newsletter.
  4. Helping to build the business brand, assisting in the design of templates, logos and other promotional materials to be published for company initiatives.
