Full time, 6-month Fixed Term Contract, based at our Edinburgh Distillery

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Administrator to join our Edinburgh HR Department on a 6-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be assisting the Company by creating electronic HR records and supporting with their upkeep, as well as performing the accurate and timely cleanse of all current employee data in line with GDPR regulations and the Company retention schedule.

Reporting to the HR Director, the main responsibilities for this role include:

  • To create electronic records and cleanse electronic employee files of any data deemed unnecessary, with strict adherence to Company-agreed retention rules
  • To raise any issues including suggestions to resolve any data associated ambiguity in a timely and appropriate manner with their line manager following the interpretation of Company-agreed policies
  • To act with the utmost integrity and confidentiality whilst dealing with sensitive employee data
  • To provide regular, concise progress updates to their line manager.
  • To maintain the Company training records, both present and historic.
  • To consider and propose processes for continued data management.
  • Uploading all relevant employee data to TMS.

The relevant skills and experience required for this role include:

  • Experience of contractual / compliance-based administration
  • Intermediate PC Skills: Formula and graphs in Excel, import photographs in PowerPoint, high standard of document production and report writing
  • Experience of computerised HR Systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to deal with large volumes of data with accuracy
  • Demonstrable ability to deal with confidential / sensitive data
