Permanent, full-time position, based at our Edinburgh Distillery on Wheatfield Road EH11 2PX


An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Quality, Standards and Assurance Team. The role of Quality Assurance Facilitator will assist North British in implementing Excellence Through Quality by supporting / conducting business wide Quality Assurance Audits.

Reporting to the Quality Systems Manager, the key responsibilities for this role include:

  • To assist the Quality Systems Manager in the development and delivery of the Quality, Standard and Assurance plan.
  • Ensuring that the Quality, Standard & Assurance team Plan is being implemented and to carry out activities associated with the plan.
  • To assist in/conduct Internal Audits across all business areas and report findings.
  • To raise awareness companywide of legislation, regulations and Industry Best Practice.
  • To support all departments, providing guidance and support in delivering Quality actions.
  • To assist the Quality Systems Manager in the development of the Document Management System.

 

To succeed in this role, the following qualifications, skills and attributes are required:

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Quality Management Systems
  • Solid experience of auditing and the auditing process
  • Experience of complying with ISO 9001 accreditation requirements
  • Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
  • Organised with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
