Permanent, full-time position based at our Muirhall Warehousing Complex in West Calder.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at our North British warehousing site for the role of Site Support Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible supporting the IT Department to provide and maintain an effective information technology service for all elements of the business.
Reporting to the IT Manager, the key responsibilities for this role include:

Ensuring that Company networks, servers, telephony and associated services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with full support Monday through Friday and remaining secure from unauthorised access and protected from virus.

Install, configure, maintain and monitor end user equipment, servers and services, in accordance with our policies and standards.

Configuring, fault finding and repairing the hardware and software of all company networks and servers.

Ensure all I.T. systems are documented and updated as changes occur and are reviewed annually.

Providing desktop / application support to all employees, advising and training new users and resolving all faults in a timely manner.

Obtaining reports and statistics on the network / I.T. / internet usage; interpreting and addressing as necessary.

Building effective relationships with business leaders and colleagues. Contributing to the I.T. Steering Group.
To succeed in this role, the following qualifications, skills and attributes are required:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IS / IT support and deployment

Windows 10 build, configuration and deployment

PC management and deployment technologies (strong preference for SCCM) Dell PC hardware and common peripherals

Excellent communications skills with the ability to effectively and simply communicate technical concepts, solutions and implications in business language

A desire to drive IT performance and service higher through proactive solutions to issues.
